Landscape - Gaspé Design Gallery
Inspired by the colours, shapes and patterns found in the Gaspé

Rocky Shore Percé
A glimpse of the rocks and the water on the old walkway at Percé. You can hear, smell and feel the water spray.

Little Launch
This rusty beauty was sitting on the old wharf at Percé in Gaspé, with its oranges and browns, and worn metal.

Gaspé Launch Beauty
Close-up of a section of the launch, with its oranges and purple-greys. Rust can be a beautiful thing.

Gaspé Launch Delight Percé
Working that delightful pocket of rust produced a repeat pattern rich in oranges and grey-blues.

Gaspé Mixed Textures O
This design plays up the greys, turning the oranges to browns. A subtle pattern of muted shapes and curves.

Gaspé Mixed Textures Seal
The rose or royal seal shape came from the main pattern. In cropping and repeating, this coordinate fits right in.

Gaspé Hidden Wave Blush
Another pattern from the Gaspé Mixed Textures collection. The colour is blush.

Gaspé Launch Double Diamond
There are diamonds to be found everywhere. The Gaspé pieces are no exception. Oranges, blues and ovals too.

Gaspé Launch Double Diamond Orange
A coordinate print with a smaller design scale. The shapes were isolated from within the Gaspé launch pattern.

Gaspé Launch Double Diamond Blue
Another coordinate print in a smaller scale. This blue version is soothing with its shape that curves like a wave.

Gaspé Beauty Purple Symbol
A Gaspé design that features the namesake pattern in the background, peeking through a small-scale pattern.

Gaspé Launch Delight Orange
A cutout in orange of the Gaspé launch. The swirl of the ocean. The orange of safety on the water.

Paspebiac Wharf
The bluish planks of the wharf, the walkway at Paspebiac in the region of Gaspé, captured in the light of evening.

Paspebiac Wharf Stripes
Those bluish planks were turned 90 degrees and smoothed into a striped repeat pattern of blues, beiges & black.

Paspebiac Wharf Stripes 2
A second striped pattern, inspired from a photo of the planks of the walkway at Paspebiac.

Paspebiac Wharf Plaid
There was no resisting trying my hand at a plaid with this one. Small scale with bluish purples, black and beige.
